Double the Pleasure
Always a treat to have a loon visiting most days. Extra treat to have 2 loons fishing for their breakfast today.

Goldeneye’s
The Common Goldeneye’s are around all winter into spring. They hang out in small groups and are often joined by small groups of grebes. A group was floating by the other day and I managed to just grab one with a very golden eye.
Common Merganser Parade
Now the Common Mergansers are parading by. The other day they were swimming in the fog but I caught a few close enough to photograph.
Surf Scoters
I have mentioned seeing Surf Scoters a few times already, either large groups in the distance or a few here closer. Recently the whole group was here. They like to line up. And I like to have all my ducks in a row.
Trumpeter Swans
A few days ago about 20 Trumpeter Swans stopped by. I assume they were on their way north as they were only here for the afternoon. I saw them here only one other time. Very special visit.
